Common questions

What shop owners ask before they start.

Most owners we talk to have been burned by an agency before, or have never hired one and are not sure what normal looks like. Here is how we answer the questions that come up on almost every first call.

Still not sure?

Ask us anything on a short call. No pitch deck, no pressure, and no obligation to sign anything.

How soon will I actually see results?

The first movement usually shows up in the Google Business Profile within two to four weeks, because calls and direction requests respond quickly once the listing is cleaned up and reviews start coming in. Website and search rankings build slower and tend to look meaningfully different somewhere between month three and month six.

Paid ads are the exception. Those can put calls on the board the same week they turn on, which is why we often run them alongside the slower work rather than waiting.

How much should a shop like mine be spending?

Most independent shops land somewhere between five and eight percent of annual revenue on marketing, and newer shops trying to build a name usually sit at the higher end of that. What matters more than the number is the split. Money spent on a site that does not convert is wasted no matter how big the budget is.

We would rather start you smaller and prove the channel works before asking you to scale it up.

Am I locked into a long contract?

No. Work is month to month, and you can stop with thirty days notice. The reason is simple. If the work is bringing cars into your bays you will not want to leave, and if it is not, a contract is not going to fix that.

Do I own my website and my accounts?

Yes, and this is worth asking every agency you talk to. Your domain, your website, your Google Business Profile, your ad accounts, and your review history all stay in your name. If we ever part ways you take everything with you and nothing goes dark.

I already have a website. Do I really need a new one?

Not always. Plenty of shops have a site that is structurally fine and just needs faster load times, better calls to action, and pages that actually target the services they want more of. We will tell you honestly which situation you are in before quoting anything.

A rebuild makes sense when the site is not mobile friendly, takes more than four seconds to load, or was built on a platform nobody can edit anymore.

How much of my time is this going to take?

Roughly an hour in the first week to get access sorted and talk through what you want more of, then about twenty minutes a month after that. We write the content, run the campaigns, and handle the reporting. What we cannot do without you is know that you just hired a second tech or picked up a fleet account, so a quick heads up when something changes is the main thing we ask for.

How will I know it is working?

You get a monthly report that leads with the numbers that matter to a shop owner, which are calls, form submissions, and booked appointments, not impressions and clicks. Every call from your ads and your listing is tracked so you can see where the work came from.

You also get a live dashboard you can open any time instead of waiting for the report.

Do you work with shops that compete with me?

No. We take one shop per service area, so we are never running ads for you and your competitor down the road at the same time. That is also why availability in a given area sometimes runs out.

What happens in the first ninety days?

Month one is foundation. We audit what you have, fix the Google Business Profile, get tracking in place so we can measure honestly, and start on the site.

Month two is launch. The site goes live, review requests start going out to your customers, and ads turn on if they are part of the plan.

Month three is tuning. By then there is real data about which services and which neighborhoods are responding, and the budget shifts toward whatever is working.
